May 1-2 - Solomons Maritime Festival at Calvert Marine Museum (10:00 to 5:00) – Celebrate Southern Maryland Traditions with Crafts, Cooking Demonstrations, Live Music, Retriever Trials, Antique Boat and Marine Engine Show and more.
May 8 – SPRING COVE MARINA OPEN HOUSE (11:00 to 2:00). Coast Guard Aux will also be conducting Courtesy Safety Examinations and will have a Safety Demonstration (including the proper use of flares) at 2pm
May 13 - 16 – Solomons Paint the Town: Plein Air Art Festival – Artists & Activities throughout town and at Annmarie Gardens.
May 30 – Josh Turner, Live in Concert – Waterside Concert Series at the Calvert Marine Museum.
June 19 – Tobacco Trail Antique and Classic Car Meet (10:00 to 2:00) at Annmarie Garden - Showcasing 200+ Antique and Classic Cars.
June 18 – Season Opener of The River Concert Series at St. Mary’s College – Free concerts on the lawn featuring the Chesapeake Orchestra and special guests, with additional concerts on Fridays (June 25th, July 2nd , July 9th, July 16th, July 23th and July 30th ).
June 26 – Bill Engvall, Comedian – Waterside Concert Series at the Calvert Marine Museum.
July 4 - FIREWORKS IN SOLOMONS – Launched from a barge in the Patuxent River off the Boardwalk! Don’t miss this wonderful show!
July 4 – Independence Day Concert - On the lawn at Sotterley Plantation (1:00 to 4:00) – Food and Drinks available (fee).
July 10 - Sharkfest at the Calvert Marine Museum - Activities for the whole family, free with Museum Admission.
July 18-20 – 18th Annual Screwpile Lighthouse Challenge – CBYRA Sailing Regatta in Solomons.
Sept. 3 – REO Speedwagon and Pat Benatar, Live in Concert – Waterside Concert Series at the Calvert Marine Museum.
Sept. 18-19 – Artsfest at Annmarie Garden – Outdoor Art Show and Festival featuring music, entertainment, food and fine brews.
Oct. 2-3 – Riverside Winefest at Sotterley Plantation (noon to 6:00) – Experience the best of Maryland Wineries with wine-tasting, fine foods, live music and artisans (fee).
Oct. 9-10 – Patuxent River Appreciation Days – at the Calvert Marine Museum. Free boat rides, music, and activities for the whole family.
Oct. 14-16 – Ghosts of Sotterley Tours – Recreated Civil War Era Drama. Reservations required (fee).
October 23 – Halloween in the Garden at Annmarie Garden (11:00 to 4:00) – “trick or treating” and free “spooky” art activities for kids.
December 4 – 5 – Solomons Christmas Walk.
December 3 – Jan. 2, 2011 – Garden in Lights – Annmarie Garden’s delightful, walk-through Light Show. Also includes an Ornament Sale, holiday shopping, music and entertainment.
